Live Exercises

Kosabeck Consulting Services Inc. has been in the business of preparing and testing Health and Safety Plans and Emergency Preparedness & Response Plans for the past 7 years. Above all, we strive to provide a 'live' exercise that has the look and feel of reality. Our statement of commitment for a live exercise is to provide a scenario that is "as real as it gets without being real". Take a look at photos below and in the 'Gallery' to see first hand the reality of exercises we have staged.

If your organization is within Alberta, Canada, we will work closely with Emergency Management Alberta (EMA) to stage a live exercise that meets their training standards. Coordination of training efforts with EMA will best prepare your people for a response strategically synchronized with emergency services within your area.

Furthermore if you are linked to local government, we will work with you to develop a live exercise scenario that will reflect the requirements for a Municipal Exercise designed to test and evaluate the following key elements of your Emergency Response Plan:

Additionally, our exercises will be designed to activate and test the following elements:

LIVE EXERCISE SCENARIO TRAINING

Live exercise scenario training compliments your first aid training with mock scenarios using casualties with simulation makeup and drama coaching. Measurable success is demonstrated with this training - first aiders are better prepared to deal with emergencies. Scenarios can be developed to suit your workplace. TYPE OF EXERCISE - CONTROLLED VS FREE PLAY

It is generally recommended to design a 'Free Play' exercise which is much more spontaneous than a 'Controlled' exercise (i.e., all stages of the exercise are pre-scripted and defined) and once the opening scenario has been established, the participant's actions dictate subsequent events. It has been our experience that the Free Play type scenario best reveals the strengths and weaknesses of an emergency preparedness plan.
